Income Protection
Income insurances cover some of the serious risks that 'always happen to someone else'. These include Accident and Sickness Insurance, Unemployment cover and Income Protection
Income Insurances should form a cornerstone of family security. If the family income is cut or disappears completely due to accident or sickness, the consequences can be too dreadful to contemplate. Statistically, you are five times more likely that you will suffer a serious illness than die before you reach 65. Conversely, thirteen times more people take out life insurance than Income protection e.g. Permanent Health Insurance.
The unemployment figures are worse now than they have been for decades and indications are that the dole queue is growing. There is little most people can do about the security of their jobs, but with income insurances such as Unemployment Insurance, it is possible to protect your financial position and your financial commitments in the event that you do lose your job.
