What is Accident, Sickness & Unemployment (ASU) Insurance?

An Accident, Sickness and Unemployment Insurance policy provides financial assistance for those who have found themselves out of employment through accident, sickness or involuntary redundancy. While PHI policies offer a much better long term solution, ASU has its place for shorter term requirements.

Your income can be protected for as little as £5 for every hundred pounds of cover required over 12 or 24 months, offering you peace of mind should the unexpected occur. Cover Options Available

Accident & Sickness Cover

A benefit will be paid to you if you are unable to work due to accident or sickness as certified by a doctor, for at least 30 consecutive days. The benefit that you will receive will be paid to you until the day you return to work for the maximum 12 monthly benefits.

Unemployment Cover

Unemployment Cover will pay you a benefit if you become unemployed or have to give up work to become a carer for at least 30 days in a row. The benefit will be paid until the day you return back to work or for the maximum of 12 months.

This Accident, Sickness and Unemployment Insurance policy will provide both the benefits of Accident and Sickness Cover and also Unemployment Cover – ensuring that you have peace of mind if the unexpected may happen.
